Our incredible Hawaiian 100% Kona Natural process coffee from Onila farms returns for a 3rd year. This coffee started off as an experiment and has become a staple for us.
Kona, Hawaii is a coffee origin near and dear to our hearts. It is where our founder got his start working with Big Island farmers in 2008. At the beginning of 2018 we connected with Award Winning 100% Organic Kona Coffee from Onila Farms, run by Ron Peters, a 70 year old former pot grower. Ron has won first place at the Kona Coffee Cultural festival and is a USDA certified organic coffee farm. He grows 90% Kona Typica and 10% Caturra coffee trees as well as over 25 different varieties of fruit and shade trees that provide a rich eco system for the coffee plants to thrive in. The cup profile is nothing short of stunning. A unique Kona coffee with complex sweetness, rich macadamia nut aromatics, and a silky & medium body, with a lingering toasty finish.
