The Technivorm Moccamaster KB coffee maker was designed in the Netherlands and been continually refined over the last 50 years to ensure the highest quality extraction of your favorite freshly roasted coffees. This particular model features a manual-adjust stop which allows you to control the brewing speed or stop it entirely as it flows into the carafe.
These home brewers feature some of the most innovative ideas including the use of a copper boiler for even heat distribution throughout the brew process; a glass carafe and warming plate with a temperature control switch; and a brew through lid which protects the coffee's heat as it is brewed. In addition, the KB is certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America to brew within the optimal temperatures of 196 and 205 degrees. They are designed to evenly spread water over your coffee grounds for an even extraction every time.
The hot plate has two settings, giving you the choice to hold your coffee at 175° or 185° F, while never burning your coffee. Not to mention, it automatically turns itself off after two hours. The finish on this brewer is Brushed Silver.
